IT Technician, IT Field Support
Job Summary:
Day to day responsibilities include implementation and maintenance of computer network systems in a company. Network administrator will also be responsible for troubleshooting networks, handling equipment inventory, and preparing documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate production problems affecting client network and systems infrastructure
· Perform vendor interaction with internal and external support organizations
· Support production network covering the following components (Cisco Routers, Cisco LAN switches, LAN hubs,
Cisco Wireless Access Points and Cisco Wi-Fi Controllers)
· Perform infrastructure configuration management utilizing network monitoring tools to optimize network
efficiency
· DNS troubleshooting and administration
· Diagnose and resolve network related issues.
· Configure and maintain Cisco Wireless Access Points using Cisco Wireless Controllers
· Implement, configure and troubleshoot VPN’s and Secure Remote Access related issues
· Configure end user devices such as laptops/desktops, printers, and shared office equipment on End-User office
network
· Evaluate, recommend, and install network hardware, peripheral equipment and software.
· Create and make changes to end user accounts.
· Configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade Check Point & Sonic Wall Firewall
· Experience on different Firewalls
· Define, consolidate and standardize documentation, standards, and policies related to Network & Security
